The program duration is two trimesters full-time. It is offered at the Newcastle City
Campus. Intakes are 3 times per year in January, May and September.
Students may only commence their UoN courses once they have successfully completed their one-year study in China. Trimester starts on 27 August 2012, 21 January 2013, 13 May 2013 and 2 Sepember 2013.
Master of International Business program requires the completion of 80 units, consisting of
eight courses worth 10 units each.
Students are required to complete the four Core courses (40 units). Students are required
to complete either four courses (40 units) from the Directed Courses or three courses (30

The MBA program consists of twelve courses (120 units). Student are required to complete
eight core courses (80 units) and four directed courses (40 units).
Specialisations: a "specialisation" in a 120 unit Masters program requires completion of a
minimum of 40 units identified by the Faculty from a specific discipline or identified
specialty within a discipline and excluding any undergraduate courses offered within the
postgraduate program.
Students can be awarded the degree with a specialisation if they complete 40 units of
directed courses from one of the following areas:
